It contains general information about the Knights of Columbus, some activities of St. James Council 4949, during my terms as Grand Knight from 2010 to 2012.
Serving the Knights of Columbus since 1994, inspired by our Supreme Knight Carl A. Anderson, Brother Knights including my own enthusiasm for the Knights of Columbus, I have created this website.

With this website I would like to say thanks to my Brother Knights of St. James Council 4949, who have given me the honour serving St. James Council 4949 as their Grand Knight for two terms from 2010 to 2012. Thanks to all officers of St. James Council 4949, helping me during my two terms in office as Grand Knight, to make it a memorable one. Your commitments to your job is reflected in our successes achieved for our Council. Thank again for a job well done. Please continue your good work for our Order, by supporting our new Grand Knight and officers during the next fraternal year.

Serving the Knights of Columbus since 1994, inspired by our Supreme Knight Carl A. Anderson many other Knights including my own enthusiasm for the Knghts of Columbus, I have created this website.
Regina and myself, had the opportunity to meet so many new people, which we call now friends. With my twitter account I’m interacting with many Knights from Councils located in different countries, sharing our experiences as Knights of Columbus members.
What we have all in common, is the willingness and the Knights of Columbus spirit, helping, when help is needed.
I would like to invite you to visit all sites including links, which will give you an overview of activities of the Knights of Columbus, including other jubjects were I feel close too.
We at St. James Council 4949 have demonstrated again what charity is all about. The Schubert Centre, Gateby Place and Columbus Court built by St. James Council 4949, are prime examples to our commitment to our community at large.

Council 4949 Ladies Appreciation Night 2012
St. James Council's 4949 Wheelchair project raised funds in the amount of $7,185.00,to be able to purchase 47 wheelchairs.
Grand Knight Guenter A. Rieger said we started the Wheelchair project, just once month before the end of the fraternal year 2011-2012.
Thanks to the generous support of our Knights and parishioners of St. James Church, we were able to raise in total $7,185.00, to be able to purchase 47 wheelchairs, providing mobility. to 47 people in need."
2010-2012 St. James Council 4949:
3 Honorary Members and
32 Honorary Life Members.
There is much more to St. James Council 4949 of the Knights of Columbus, located in Vernon British Columbia, by providing a monthly Pancake Breakfast to Knights and parishioners.
However, the monthly Pancake Breakfast, offered by St. James Council 4949, plays an important part to raise funds to be contributed for people and organisation in need.

"Those who like to brause the internet may have noticed that for the past several months Council's 4949 official web page has been unavailable. We are pleased to tell you that it is now again up and running.
Brother Jason D. Agosto has volunteered to administer the new site from his home in Arizona (USA). Although not yet completed it will give members and guests a good overview of Council 4949.

Heart & Stroke Foundation, Knights of Columbus, St. James Council raised $1620 during the 3rd annual Big Bike Run, supporting the Heart & Stroke Foundation
One of our oldest participant, 82 years of age, but still strong on the Big Bike.
