St. James Council 4949 Events Videos

3rd Annual Big Bike Run, Knights of Columbus Council 4949, May 2013 Heart & Stroke Foundation, Knights of Columbus, St. James Council raised $1620 during the 3rd annual Big Bike Run, supporting the Heart & Stroke Foundation One of our oldest participant, 82 years of age, but still strong on the Big Bike.

There is much more to the KOFC St. James Council 4949, located in Vernon British Columbia, by providing a monthty Pancake Breakfast to Knights and parishioners. However, the monthly Pancake Breakfast, offered by St. James Council 4949, plays an important part to raise funds.

50th Birthday Party for Father Dale, Knights of Columbus St. James Council 4949. Birthday Party for Chaplain Rev. Dale Normandeau

Council 4949 Wheelchair project 2011-2012 St. James Council's 4949 Wheelchair project raised funds in the amount of $7,185.00,to be able to purchase 47 wheelchairs. Grand Knight Guenter A. Rieger said we started the Wheelchair project, just once month before the end of the fraternal year 2011-2012. Thanks to the generous support of our Knights and parishioners of St. James Church, we were able to raise in total $7,185.00, to be able to purchase 47 wheelchairs, providing mobility. to 47 people in need."

The 2012 Ladies Appreciation Night was an excellent and special evening, filled with friendship and fine dining.
Keynote Speaker, Grand Knight Guenter A. Rieger, used "The Red Rose the symbol for Romance and Love... for his speech.
My dear ladies, You are the Red Rose in our life. .........and a big thank you for your support......"All ladies and widows received during the evening a red rose.Thanks to all ladies, widows and Knights for coming out to make this evening a Night to remember

The Silver Rose, KOFC4949. Grand Knight Guenter A. Rieger receives the Silver Rose from Grand Knight Bernie Lutes, KOFC12202 after mass at St. James Church. Grand Knight Ingo Schollerman will travel with "The Silver Rose" to Salmon Arm,BC, The Silver Rose will be moving through the West Coast area, central United States and the East Coast, all three roses will meet in Texas to travel over the International Bridge and be handed to knights in Monterrey, Mexico........

The Knights of Columbus BC & Yukon District #11,2nd and 3rd Degree exemplification was held at the Schubert Centre, on February 9th-2013.
